Thoughts of the moment presented in bullet points, because sometimes I like to do it that way:
- Good News – The “dark side” of using physical exercise as a component of a Weight Loss Project (WLP) is the extent to which it makes one ravenously hungry. At least, that’s the effect it has on me. Yesterday’s bowflex workout increased my appetite to the extent that I had to, simply had to eat much more than I should have! I knew it was wrong while I was doing it, but I was unable to stop myself. There was a sense of dread on me regarding what the bathroom scales were going to tell me, regarding how much weight increase I was inevitably going to suffer. The “Good News” came this morning when I stepped on those scales: I’d only gained one pound. Huzzah!
- Bad News – A large swath of GoDaddy.com was offline last night for several hours. This outage occurred without warning and took my domain with it. Even now there’s been no public acknowledgement from GoDaddy that this even happened. If I was running a business rather than a little, personal website, I’d be seriously honked off about this. As it is, I’ve taken steps to diminish the importance of my GoDaddy hosted blog, web pages, etc., as they relate to my overall Internet presence.
- Indecision – I still haven’t decided which basketball game I want to follow tonight: the Spurs/Mavs game, or the UTSA Roadrunners vs. the East Central Tigers. Seriously, I still haven’t decided. There may be a coin flip here in my living room tonight to determine which of the two I’ll listen to. No, I won’t listen to both at the same time, nor is it likely that I’ll switch back and forth between the two. It’s not in my nature to do either of those things. But… I have been know to flip a coin on occasion. Tonight might find me doing that again.
update: – Re: the confusion about which basketball game to watch has been solved! The Roadrunners tipoff at 19:00 hours and the Spurs game is an hour and a half later at 20:30. So I’ll be able to Start the evening with the UTSA game, and switch over to the Spurs/Mavs when that game’s over. Excellent!
