Mentally mapping…
…my Monday, prioritizing my chores, deciding on the best ways to do what I want to get done in the day ahead: this is the kind of brain activity I’m involved in now. When the shape of those things become more clear in my mind, that’s when I’ll begin to relax and wait for sleep to come. And that’s probably at least an hour or two into the future from here.
Few things make me happier…

May I say something brash?
We have better game Referees in Texas High School football than some of those goobers working NFL games. Seriously.
Also, while I’m at it, some of the play-by-play guys working our Texas HS games are better than many of the announcers hired by the big networks, too.
a productive afternoon
After cleaning and organizing in the back room, I’m now in the process of running two loads of laundry through the washer and dryer. There’ll be time to fold and put away all this laundry before the Bears/Broncos game starts this evening. Sweet!
